Bali has two seasons and picking wrong ruins the trip.
The itinerary
Dry season (Apr–Oct) is the sweet spot — best in May, June, September. Wet season (Nov–Mar) means daily downpours; January–February is the worst of it.
Budget note: dry season costs 30–50% more for hotels; the savings in wet season aren't worth the rain.
